Nik Stoter

Nik has worked extensively in TV and theatre since he was a child. Aged seven he attended Barbara Speakes Stage School, before joining the Sylvia Young Theatre School.

Whilst at stage school Nik’s various credits included Grange Hill, Z Cars, The Les Dawson Show, Just William, The Onedin Line, Late Expectations, Starting Out, Escape Banned, all for the BBC; Kids and Crime monthly for LWT and The Bill for ITV, as well as numerous commercials.

His theatre work includes Oliver in Oliver! (Albery), The Sound of Music (Apollo theatre), Bugsy Malone (Her Majesty’s), The Royal Variety Performance (Dominion), and The Cannon and Ball Show (Dominion).

At the age of 17 Nik played Adrian in The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole aged 13 ¾ (national tour), Jim Hawkins in Treasure Island (Polka), a lost boy in Peter Pan (Cambridge theatre), Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat (national tour), Prince Charming in Snow White (Camberley), David Bowie in Hot Stuff (Leicester Haymarket), Joe Soap in Hot Stuff (Cambridge theatre), David Copperfield in David Copperfield (Liverpool Empire), Mr Pocket in Great Expectations (national tour), Noah Claypole in Oliver! (London Palladium) Frederick in Pirates of Penzance (West Yorkshire Playhouse), Zangara in Assassins (Landor), Queen Victoria in Dr Livingstone I Presume (Riverside Hammersmith), Wishee Washee in Aladdin (Gaiety theatre, Isle of Mann)

More recently Nik played the lead role of Tony in Barry Manilow’s musical, Copacabana (national tour), Bobby in a brand new production for Theatre Royal Lincoln: Phantom of the P’Opera, reprised the role of Noah in Oliver! (Genting Highlands, Malaysia), Geoffrey in Stepping Out (Theatre Royal Lincoln), Rooster Hannigan in Annie (national tour), Vernon Gersch in They’re Playing Our Song (Madinat theatre, Dubai) and Fulton in High School Musical II (Centre Point theatre, Dubai)

Nik can currently be seen in the ongoing concert tours Kings of Swing and Masters of the House and is also the lead vocalist for top profile function band Disco Daze, as well as the world famous opera based spoof dinner show “The Three Waiters”.
